The Standardbred Showcase Riding Club

The Standardbred Showcase Riding Club is a non profit corporation with a mandate to promote the standardbred as a riding, showing and pleasure driving horse.

In 2008, Standardbred Showcase held its inaugural horse show which was an overwhelming success. This year there will be over 20 classes offered at the show which will take place on Sunday, August 2, 2009. Grand River Raceway has generously provided us with their facilities for the show which will again include a trade fair.

ONTARIO STANDARDBRED SHOW SERIES

This year, there will be three horse shows devoted to promoting the versatility of the standardbred. Each horse show will be organized and managed by three distinct groups - The Standardbred Riding Club, Oxer Stables and the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society. The group of shows will be known as the Ontario Standardbred Show Series.

There will be year end awards and an awards banquet for the Ontario Standardbred Show Series. Points will be accumulated from each of the individual shows to determine the year end champion and reserve champions in a variety of categories as well as high point earners.

OTHER ORGANIZATIONS

The Standardbred Fan Club
